Cressida Bonas, the ex-girlfriend of Prince Harry, has landed a supporting part in 2015's Tulip Fever opposite two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz.

The movie, which also stars Dane DeHaan, Zach Galifianakis and Dame Judi Dench, tells the story of an artist in 17th century Amsterdam who falls in love with the young married woman whose portrait he has been commissioned to paint.

Real-life models Cara Delevingne and Daisy Lowe will play the artist's models while Bonas will play a "society lady."

The movie is based on Deborah Moggach’s 1999 novel of the same name. Justin Chadwick (The Other Boleyn Girl) will direct.

A movie adaptation of the book was set to begin filming in 2004, but changes to Britain's tax incentive program caused the production to be put on hold.

Bonas, 25, recently made her stage debut playing a singing wolf in There’s a Monster in the Lake, which is currently running at Hay-on-Wye.
