Bradley Cooper Gets Loose With Esquire

By KATE MORAWETZ

"I don't use deodorant really anymore."

That's not something you'd think to hear from the Sexiest Man Alive! Bradley Cooper opens up to Esquire magazine about his hygiene, his father and getting rejected from Graduate school.

And if that doesn't grab your attention, this probably will! Bradley reveals he's often wet and naked, "I do take a lot of showers, so maybe that helps."

On his father, and the subtle impact he has on influencing his career, Bradley says: "[he] was viciously smart and intellectually curious. We lived across the street from a movie theatre, and he would always talk about all these movies."  Continuing, "When I was at the age of being able to appreciate them, he just started throwin' 'em my way."

And just because The Silver Linings Playbook star is considered one of the hottest leading men in Hollywood, it doesn't mean things came easy in the Cooper household.  "I still remember on the pay phone, calling my dad in the office, and he said, 'You got the letter, and you got rejected.' It really floored me. It gutted me."  But Bradley never gave up, "Eventually I said, 'Dad, I'm gonna reapply,' and he said, 'Do it.'"

As we mentioned, Bradley is People Magazine's reigning Sexiest Man Alive, but not for long.   Last week we reported that none other than Magic Mike star Channing Tatum could be taking Bradley's place, and this week on Don't Trust the B--- In Apartment 23, Krysten Ritter is campaigning for someone else to take the top spot!

That's right, James Van Der Beek wants to be featured on the coveted cover, and not only on his show, but in real life too!  Well, sort of.  The real James is carrying on the joke in People magazine with a column titled: "If I Were the Sexiest Man Alive."

But we want to hear from you!  Is it Ryan Gosling's year to shine? Or should the honour go to someone else?  Watch below to find out who we think could be taking the top spot for this year's Sexiest Man Alive!
