We have the answer to the question everyone is wondering! Where does Jared Leto keep his Oscar?

During an interview with ET Canada’s Sangita Patel on Tuesday, the Oscar winner shares some fun facts on his brand new statuette’s whereabouts after the little gold man’s brush with death.

“The Oscar is sitting in my kitchen, guarded by some vegan butter and a bag of popcorn!” reveals the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award winner. “You know, they kind of end up in the kitchen because that's the first place that I go when I get home. You put your keys down and you take off your jacket… and you put your Oscar in the kitchen.”

And it sounds like the trophy needs a little safe-keeping after a recent incident: "I was letting some of the people that I work with take a picture with the Oscar and I was carrying it down the stairs and, boom, I hit it against the stairs, the railing and I put a little nick in the back of it… so you know, that’s how it goes. It’s already lived in, as they say.”

But the Oscar statuette mishap hasn’t dampened the Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman’s spirits at all, still coming down from the high of winning the most prestigious award an actor can be bestowed upon.

And what’s next for the Oscar winner? “It’s been a fun week and I couldn't think of a better thing to have happen… after getting an Oscar, than to go on tour with Linkin Park,” Leto shares.

Thirty Seconds To Mars and Linkin Park just announced their North American summer tour today. “To come through Canada and to do something as exciting and amazing as this,” he says of The Carnivores Tour, set to kick-off on Friday, August 8 in West Palm Beach.

As for the title of the tour, Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park explains, "Carnivores is a metaphor that is meant to convey an appetite for something visceral and substantive, and I feel that’s exactly the hunger this tour will feed."

There will be three shows in Canada, including Montreal on August 23, Toronto on August 24 and Winnipeg on August 27. Tickets go on sale Friday at www.livenation.com.
