Celebs React to Tragic 'Dark Knight' Shooting
A midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado turned deadly early Friday morning when James Holmes, a 24-year-old, opened fire in the theatre.
According to multiple reports, at least 12 people were killed and about 50 others injured after the gunman released what witnesses described as a smoke bomb and then began firing at moviegoers inside the theater.
The suspect, who was heavily-armed and wearing a bulletproof vest, was apprehended by police in the theater's parking lot, according to Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates.
Warner Brothers has canceled TDKR's planned Paris premiere tonight and issued a statement on the tragedy: "Warner Bros. and the filmmakers are deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident. We extend our sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this tragic time."
Here are few reactions so far from celebrities:

Federal and local law enforcement are still responding, and my Administration will do everything that we can to support the people of Aurora in this extraordinarily difficult time. As we do when confronted by moments of darkness and challenge, we must now come together as one American family.
