TV's Top Actresses Talk Sex, Shame and Kissing Brad Pitt

To kick-off The Emmy Awards, actresses Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife), Claire Danes (Homeland), January Jones (Mad Men), Emmy Rossum (Shameless), Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) and Mireille Enos (The Killing) grace the cover of The Hollywood Reporter's June 8 issue. During a drama actresses roundtable discussion with the magazine, TV's hottest women not only talk about the most important people in their careers, they also open up about sex scenes and other embarrassing moments.

Julianna relives the disgrace of forgetting her lines on-stage: "I froze and I couldn't remember the lines to save my life. It felt like I was up there for an hour and I died inside."

Meanwhile, Mad Men vixen January shares a similarly shameful moment during her Coyote Ugly audition. "Jerry Bruckheimer wanted me to come in and dance... they said you are going to dance to Prince's Kiss. You're going to pole dance but there's no pole!” she said, adding, "he said ‘Honey, you did a great reading but you've got no rhythm.’”

But, while January's worst moment may not be enviable, Mirelle's sure is! Her most frightening moment, believe it or not, was kissing Brad Pitt! "It was the second day of shooting (World War Z)... it was fine, but the anticipation was terrible," the actress admits.

While getting naked in front of an entire crew might scare most women, these actresses admit that for the most part they are comfortable showing some skin, if the role is right. Shameless’ Emmy describes why she made the choice for her character Fiona to be “bare and raw” and reveals why it feels “comfortable.” The Closer’s Kyra, on the other hand, calls on-set nudity “awful,” but adds that "if it feels right for the character and right for the moment, it feels more right than not doing it."
