Erin Cebula Chats Exclusively With Michael Buble In Victoria
It's a big weekend in Victoria, B.C. and ET Canada landed a big world exclusive at the start of The David Foster Foundation Miracle Weekend!
Our Vancouver reporter Erin Cebula exclusively chats with B.C.-born crooner Michael Buble in the stunning Victoria Harbour ahead of The David Foster Foundation's Miracle Concert on Saturday.
Michael reveals to Erin that he misses his wife, Luisana Lopilato, since they haven't seen each other in person for a couple of months: "I miss her though. I haven't seen her in a couple of months... I was working and I was in Africa and all over the place."
The Argentine model has also been in Cannes for the Film Festival for work as the new face of L'Oreal, but luckily he says they've been able to keep in touch with "a lot of Skype dates."
Luisana has also been busy modelling for the lingerie brand Ultimo, to which Michael jokes he finds "weird": "I think it's weird because those are my boobies. But I'm not weird like that, I'm not possessive like that... but she's an actor so i find it weirder that she's making out with good-looking actor boys all the time."
As for how they celebrated their first year of marriage, Michael reveals that he "recorded a song for her and a video." And he says she shocked him by giving him a very meaningful book: "But what was incredible was that it had every note - every love note, every ticket - everything that we've done."
Michael was in Victoria to be present at the David Foster Way street naming ceremony on Friday afternoon - no big deal! The "Crazy Love" singer joins Pamela Anderson, Rick Hansen, The Tenors and of course David Foster, during a lively rehearsal and photo opp ahead of the big day. We'll show you the interview and Michael's "Hallelujah" of a performance with The Tenors, with the beautiful Victoria Harbour as a backdrop, on Monday's show.
And on another exclusive note, David just broke the news to ET Canada that Donna Summer had signed up to be part of tomorrow's concert, but had cancelled shortly before she passed away. The famed Music Producer says he just returned from her funeral and he talks about how sad it is to lose all of these music greats, including the most recent Disco legend to leave us, Robin Gibb.
We have a sneak peek at Erin's interview with Michael and at the celebrities preparing for the Miracle Concert below! And be sure to tune-in to all of our coverage of the event and our full chat with Michael on Monday's show!
