Nick Cannon Stands Up to Bullying in 'Die Young'

By KATE MORAWETZ

Nick Cannon is a busy man with his hosting duties for America’s Got Talent, but in his new video for Die Young he finds time to shed light on an important issue.

The video is shot in black and white featuring Nick standing shirtless, hands bound, against a wall being stoned by rocks inscribed with hateful words.  With a single tear streaming down his cheek, the scene seems to draw inspiration from Denzel Washington’s whipping in Glory.

The chilling track samples The Band Perry’s If I Die Young interspersed with Nick’s inspirational anti-bullying message to victims around the world.

Die Young will be featured on Nick’s fourth album, due out later this year.
