Mindy Kaling has a new show and it’s a bit of a hot mess.

Appropriately titled “The Mindy Project”, Mindy plays a 30-something single woman trying to make a love connection while hanging onto a demanding career as an OB/GYN. And considering the trailer has her toast bombing her ex’s wedding, drunk driving a bicycle and being arrested, viewers are probably in for a wild ride.

The new show co-stars Chris Messina, Anna Camp and Ed Weeks, but keep your eyes peeled for some guest appearances by Mindy’s “The Office” pals, including Ed Helms, and SNL’s Bill Hader.

After co-starring on "The Office" for eight seasons – where Mindy not only starred in but wrote and executive produced – it’s probably about time this TV Wunderkind got her own gig.

"The Mindy Project" will follow "New Girl" on Tuesday evenings on FOX starting this fall, but check out the trailer for the show below!
