Cheryl Cole's GQ 'Sex'-Factor
Cheryl Cole may have been dumped by Simon Cowell, but she proves she has more than just that “X Factor” with her sexy new video and British GQ cover.
The songstress’ new single, “Call My Name”, was produced by Calvin Harris who worked with Rihanna on her “Talk That Talk” album and can be heard on Cheryl’s “A Million Lights” album set for release on June 18. In the video Cheryl struts her stuff in stilettos and short-shorts. Highlighting more than just her dance skills, Cheryl also shows off her daring ‘backside’ tattoos.
Speaking of revealing, the brunette beauty doesn’t just bare it all on her sexy new GQ cover, she also dishes to the mag about “The X Factor” scandal. Partway through the season on the US version of the show, Cheryl was suddenly replaced from the judging panel by Pussy Cat Doll’s Nicole Scherzinger.
The rumour was she was dropped because producers deemed her accent too thick for the American audience, but the star says there’s more to the story: “What I will say is that business is not a nice area. And you might say that I am a business woman, but I’m not into cut throat business moves. Me leaving the show was nothing to do with my accent. I work with Americans all the time.”
As for her falling out with the show’s Executive Producer Simon Cowell, she says they’ve reconciled. “As for Simon, when I returned to the UK, I received a message saying: ‘Hello Cheryl. So now you’ve blown me up in Afghanistan, can we talk?’ – and we did. I’m not one of those people who holds a grudge about anything and I know exactly what went down.”
Look for the British issue ofGQ comes out in June.
