Whitney Houston's Clothes Sell for $82,025
Thirteen pieces from Whitney Houston's wardrobe sold at a "Hollywood Legends" auction put on by Julien's Auctions over the weekend, bringing in $82,025.
The auction included a few pieces she wore in The Bodyguard, and were acquired through family members and friends of the singer the auction house says.
The most expensive item of the bunch? A beaded Marc Bouwer bustier that sold for $18,750. Houston had a personal history with the designer, who she bought more than 500 pieces from in her lifetime, and who she recruited to make her wedding dress when she married Bobby Brown in 1992.
