Maroon 5 Unites Musicians Across The Globe
Adam Levine and the boys from Maroon 5 have partnered with Playing For Change (the company behind that really cute Stand By Me video the documentary Playing For Change: Peace Through Music) in their latest video Daylight, to create a music video that unites musicians and music lovers across the globe.
Originally planning on crowd sourcing the video through their Daylight Project, they reconsidered and opted to join forces with the cool cause that is dedicated to inspire, connect and bring peace to the world through music.
The video shows fans playing the song with their cuts "recorded and filmed live outside" and overlaid with the actual track. Now this is nothing new in the music world, recently Canadian band Simple Plan did a similar sort of thing, bringing in fans to record parts of their latest single, "This Song Saved My Life". What do you think about bands bringing in their fans to help them make music?
