Style Inspiration For New Year's Eve

It's partway through the party season, and that holiday office bash was just a dress rehearsal for the biggest night of the year! Now, if you need some outfit inspiration, don't fret, Rachel Zoe's former assistant and stylist to the stars, Brad Goreski, is here to help you outshine the rest on New Year's Eve.

"Be bold in your choice. Allow yourself to stand out in the crowd," instructs our fashion expert and star of It's a Brad, Brad World. "We get invited to so many parties and I think the holidays give us that opportunity to put in that extra bit of pizazz."

You don't have to look past the runway to find great ideas for fabulous party looks. While designers often take theatrics to the limits for their shows, velvet and detailed bead work are themes Brad thinks will translate from the catwalk to cocktail hour: "Opulence is especially relevant. We saw it at Dolce & Gabbana, we saw it at Emilio Pucci, we saw it all over the runway."

But, if you don't think you can pull off dramatic runway dresses, you can always spice up your look with a simple statement. "Whether it's with a great accessory or fun things with beauty, maybe it's a bold lip, or maybe it's a bold eyeliner," says Brad, "just do something that makes you stand out from the rest."
