And The Best Dressed Women of 2012 Are...
'Tis the season for year-end lists and Forbes Magazine is getting in on the action. But this time, instead of telling us how much money our favourite celebs raked in this year, they're breaking down their favourite looks in their countdown of the best dressed women of 2012.
Coming in at number 10 is The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo herself, Rooney Mara. The actress earns her spot on the list for the black lace Givenchy gown she wore to the Met Gala in New York back in May.
The rose-coloured Lanvin number Nicole Kidman wore to the Cannes premiere of The Paperboy earns her the number nine spot. Accessorizing with Zac Efron on your arm never hurts an ensemble either, right ladies?
The number eight spot belongs to the adorable Emma Stone and the plunging Ellie Saab jumpsuit she wore to the London premiere of The Amazing Spiderman.
You may not have heard of French fashion designer and former model Ines De La Fressange, but Forbes was impressed enough by the Lanvin dress she wore at Cannes this year to put her at number seven on their list.
Leelee Sobieski turns up at number six for the red Dior Couture coat dress she wore to the Dior Spring/Summer fashion show in Paris.
Jessica Chastain had tongues wagging when she turned up on the Oscars red carpet in this black strapless Alexander McQueen affair with gold detailing, earning her the number five spot on the list. And with what's sure to be another big awards season coming her way, we can't wait to see what Jessica will be wearing!
Blake Lively sits at number four for the figure-hugging optical illusion Zuhair Murad dress she wore to the Los Angeles premiere of Savages. Blake was originally going to wear it to the Met Gala in New York, but when her schedule prevented her from attending she held on to it. Smart choice!
Number three is red carpet enigma Tilda Swinton and the pale blue Haider Ackermann design she wore to the Golden Globes.
In the runner-up spot is new mama Beyonce, who flaunted some serious post-baby curves in this lace Givenchy she rocked at the Met Gala. Bootylicious!
And the number one spot goes to the gown that was THE talk of the Oscars - Gwyneth Paltrow in this stunning white Tom Ford dress she paired with a simple ponytail and dramatic white cape.
